Default Problem with Radio In Volt

Hello,
I am having a problem figuring out how to store music onto the hard drive that
comes with the radio the HDD button is always disabled.

Can anyone here explain step by step the process to store a music file onto the HDD of the Volt's Radio?

The manual doesn't offer any setup by step instructions on this subject. I think Chevrolet could have done a better job of explaining how to use the features the Volt offers. They should offer a DVD manual with setup by
step instructions.

Default Recording tp the HDD

I simply insert a CD or a USB with audio only on the USB. Once inserted press "REC" and you will be asked whether you want to record this song or all songs. Select which one you want and the selection will be recorded onto the HDD..

Phil
