Default Big drop in charging capacity

My 2013 Volt has had a steady charging range between 37-39 miles. Last week it dropped to 34 miles. I'm wondering if this is because I didn't change the finish time from 8 a.m. even though it was going to need a full charge (from 0), and now the battery memory keeps it stopping at 34. If I'm right, is there a way to break this pattern? (Despite the car's age it only has 30,000 miles on it).

Default Low charging

Cooler weather, wet roads or older batteries can also cause this. I have had a 2011, 2016 and now a 2019. All have been great, but cold, wet and old batteries can do this.
When I had 2011, 46 charge was my best. 2016, 64 charge was best. 2019, 70 charge was the best. Now 40 - 50 degrees at night, only 59 - 60 for a charge.
Hope this helps.

I have noticed that my quoted mileage capacity changes if I have done a lot of city driving or a number of short distances. (2018 Volt) It seems the Volt remembers the lower mileage on that "fill/charge" and sometimes drops as much as 6 miles on the quoted capacity. So say it drops to 54. We can still go our regular 59 or 60 miles if we are doing our normal highway driving which is very flat south Florida travel. Then when our charge it that evening, the capacity will show higher, maybe 58 or 59.
