Default bought a 2011 Volt in Denver

Hi everyone,
I bought a used Volt with 30,000 miles about 4 weeks ago. I've got to drive it for one week and loved it. Initially I bought it even though they were in the middle of repairing the heat (no cabin heat). Unfortunately it took them 3 weeks to fix that, I drove it for about one week and the heat went out again. It's now back at the dealer getting a new radiator. The present theory is that the wrong coolant was put it in the car, which screwed up the heater core and clogged the filters. Though they flushed the car out, the screens clogged again and the car developed a coolant leak. Now they are replacing the radiator, the filters, and maybe another heater core and all of the lines. Please, please reassure me that this isn't a normal occurrence and that I'll get to drive my volt on a regular basis in the future! During the week a had it, I really loved the car and can't wait to get it back.

I thought the cabin heat in the Volt was electric. A radiator shouldn't affect the heat in the cabin.

I'm not really sure how it all works... but here is what I understand...
There was a coolant leak, someone put in the wrong coolant. The heater core filters became clogged, the heater core failed, the valves which open into the cabin failed. The dealer replaced the heater core, the filters, and the valves. They ran the system, had heat... the heat quit. They again replaced the heater core and filters. Ran the system... had heat, the heat quit. Took apart the whole system - discovered the gel that used to be coolant. Replaced all the lines, replaced the filters, flushed the system. Gave me the car... I had heat, the heat quit after about 1 week. Took it in, the lines had gel, the filters were clogged, and the radiator had a coolant leak. So now they are replacing the radiator, the filters, the heater core and all the lines. (I think the valves are still fine.) I just hope I haven't bought a lemon. In the mean time, the dealer has been awesome. I have 100,000 mile bumper to bumper coverage, the next 30,000 miles with no out of pocket whatsoever+ a rental car anytime my car needs service.
