I'm 75 and, now that it's ordered, I'm as anxious as a kid to get my hands on the Volt that I ordered.
By the way, I'd like to see a poll on WHY people are buying it.
Personally my reasoning has nothing to do with going green, nothing to do (certainly) with saving money, and nothing to do with being "first on the block".
I just don't want to send any more of my money to countries so they can buy arms to destroy us, or fatten the already fat cat tyrants in those countries!

I'm 4 months from my 61st birthday and enjoying my Volt and delighted to tell curious people about this amazing car. Unfortunately, my learning curve is steep. I recently was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis and it has some effect on cognitive ability... thus, I feel somewhat overwhelmed with all the stuff on the instrument panel and the features, functions and hoopla...

For the first couple months I was battery watching (needlessly)

You can't help it at first. It can be confusing and distracting at first.

Now I just drive it like a regular car ...other than plugging it in every night.
