When in low put the energy screen showing regen up so you can see when you are in regen mode. Now drive and when you decelerate in low gently feather the throttle and it will go into stage one d mode...

Crazy money over there for fuel, thank goodness you found the volt. What are you paying per kwh? In canada im paying 8 cents thats about 5 pence per kw so it costs me about 55p to charge up fully.
