Hi everyone,
We picked up our Volt, Silver Ice, last Sunday. Have only driven it a couple hundred miles, so can't say much about it yet, except it is a fun car to drive.
When I went to recharge the batteries Sunday night I discovered there was a short in the charging wire. I called the Volt 800 number and have been very impressed with the support. They called the dealer the next day and made them aware of my problem. When I got to the dealer Monday morning they had another charger ready for me. The lady from Chevy called me Monday morning to tell me what she had done, and called back yesterday to see if everything was OK. Now that is what I call service.

I'm so excited about taking delivery of my Silver 2012 Volt next week.
My baby's at the dealership, delivered yesterday, but I have to wait the long week-end plus a couple of days to get it received and plated.
I hope to be driving her next week.
As an electrical engineer working in the transportation industry it's only natural that I'll be one of the first in Canada!!
Let us know how you like it so far! There are so few being sold that it's hard to get any good feedback. . .
Hi all,
Also from Mississauga Ontario and awaiting my new Volt! I went in for a Camaro and came out with a Volt!! Frank, tell me how it feels to drive that car around. I'm expecting mine in the first week of October. Feels great to be one of the first to bring the Volt to Canada.

atam, welcome to the club! Right now its a very exclusive club. What dealership are you with?
I don't know exactly what it is about Canada, but I don't think my Volt is getting much notice when I'm driving it around. There are LOTS of things you should prepare before taking your new baby home, like a dedicated circuit that can handle the 12 amps she draws during charging. And DON'T EVEN CONSIDER driving on the highway with the windows down, the buffetting will HURT your ears.
I'd suggest you look here as well...

My baby's only a week old, so I don't yet know all the in's and out's, but I'm learning PDQ. As a electrical engineer working in the transportation industry (as a sofware designer), I have a bit of an interest in the underlying technology.
Let me know when your baby arrives. I saw a black one at Addison. Yours maybe?
